Dr. Ernest Zeringue

Ernest J. Zeringue M.D. (zerang) is an infertility specialist and founder of California IVF: Davis Fertility Center, Inc. He received his medical school training in Charleston at the Medical University of South Carolina. His obstetrics and gynecology residency was completed at Keesler Air Force Base.

Following residency, Dr. Zeringue attended fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Duke University in Durham, NC. He then served as the Division Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base.

While in the military, Dr. Zeringue's clinic was among the busiest in the hospital and maintained a very high patient satisfaction rating. As one of only a hand full of infertility specialists in the Air Force, Dr. Zeringue also performed a high volume of infertility surgery including tubal reversals.

Research interests include insulin resistance as in relates to weight and infertility problems. He has successfully implemented a diet regimen that has been extremely effective in restoring ovulation to many women. Countless individuals have sought counseling for weight management independent of attempts at becoming pregnant. Dr. Zeringue is also actively involved with the development of new techniques of genetic screening of embryos through development of research projects that will allow for screening of abnormal embryos that can lead to babies with genetic problems and higher rates of miscarriage.

Dr. Lovely is a well known infertility specialist in the Sacramento area. After completing medical school at Emory University School of Medicine in 1991, Dr. Lovely trained as an obstetrician and gynecologist at Keesler Medical Center from 1991 to 1995. Her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was completed at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 1998. Dr. Lovely then relocated to Northern California for an assignment as the chief of the division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base from July 1998 to July 2001. She joined the staff of Northern California Fertility Medical Center (NCFMC) as a private practice specialist. During her seven years she gained the admiration and respect of patients and physicians from the Sacramento area and surrounding regions.

Dr. Laurie Lovely is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She has received a research grant from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for her work on the effects of hormones and the endometrial lining. She presented a prize-winning paper on the effects of stress and infertility at an annual meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Additional professional interests include pubertal problems and reconstructive tubal surgery including tubal ligation reversals.

Dr. Pravin Goud

Pravin Goud, MD, PhD, is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) sub-specialist currently practicing at the California IVF Fertility Center in Davis and Sacramento, California, USA. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor (VCF) at the University of California, Davis, and an adjunct faculty at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI.

Dr Goud also holds a PhD in Reproductive Biology from Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium received in 1999 with highest honors. He has presented and published extensively in the field of oocyte aging and maturation in peer reviewed journals along with some of the most respected names in the infertility field. Several of the papers have received state, national and international awards. Some of these include the Donald F Richardson award, the ASRM Ortho-award, the Gordon Research award, just to name a few.

Dr Goud received his medical degree and OB/GYN training at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai, India. After moving to the United States, Dr. Goud completed another OB/GYN residency and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. He is also certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis as a high complexity laboratory director (HCLD) in Androlgy and Embryology.
